What this site is

Insights by Mike publishes educational articles, explainers and downloadable templates about money, careers and business. It is run by one person, Mike Sader, as an independent educational project.

What it is not

Nothing on this site is personalised investment, financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and using it creates no advisory relationship. For advice on your own circumstances, consult a professional licensed to provide it. Read the financial disclaimer — it is short and it matters.

Your account

• Accounts are free. There is nothing to pay, at any point.
• Use an email address you control. Sign-in is by a code sent to that address, so whoever can read that inbox can access the account.
• One account per person. Don't create accounts on someone else's behalf or with an address that isn't yours.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
• I may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the site — scripted downloading, attempts to break authentication, or attacks on other users.

Resources and downloads

• Free resources are provided for your own personal or internal business use.
• You may use and adapt them for your own work, and share the page with anyone.
• You may not redistribute the files themselves as your own, resell them, or publish them elsewhere for download.
• Templates are general starting points. They are not tailored to your circumstances, and they may contain errors — check the numbers before relying on them for a decision.

Content and copyright

Articles, resources, the Insights by Mike name and the site's design are Mike Sader's, unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to quote a reasonable extract with a link and attribution. Republishing whole articles, or using the content to train a model or populate another site, requires permission.

Accuracy

I try hard to be accurate, to cite sources and to correct mistakes quickly. Even so, content can go out of date, and figures change. Verify anything you're relying on — and if you spot an error,tell me and I'll fix it.

The site is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be withdrawn.
